Councilwoman
Erickson is often upset by my ramblings. She said a document
came across her desk stating that I objected to the town
assisting the new American Legion Post. First of all, no such
document exists. One resident requested the document under the
freedom of information law and the town responded by stating
that "the document requested could be best described as a
"figure of speech" and not a suggestion of an actual written
document and that there is no document as referenced." (SEE
www.townofevans.com/foil) Second, since Councilwoman Erickson
raised the issue, my position is that if the town is willing
to provide assistance to one group, they should provide
assistance to all groups when they request the towns help. |
