Village Of Angola Mayor
Successful In Recent Government Dissolution Petition.
Mayor Carlson succeeded in transforming
Angolas tax base while eliminating any chance for residents
and businesses to receive village tax savings.
Mr. Carlson engaged in
numerous acts of coercion and the denial of public information
during the petition process in Angola. The mayor was
successful in preventing change in our community and his
creative tactics denied residents a right to vote for change
and present data in the Supreme Court order issued by the
village government. Therefore, it is conceivable to render
the truth by publicly sharing the facts. A timeline of events
and the efforts of the mayor to block crucial steps is
provided herein. Supreme Court documents reflect this data as
submitted on May 21st , 2004.

2004 Judge
renders a decision petition for village government
dissolution invalid due to date of filing. Filing a completed
petition must be on day 120 of any Section 1914 petition
cycle.
The ability
and power of our village government to coerce, block and
ultimately end any chance of reform for a community is
embarrassing to admit. Is there a purpose or objective in
withholding a financial analysis indicating the impact of
sharing services? According to village law, a government
dissolution - ALL contractual village employees
are retained a merger of village to town services will lose
jobs! The service of elected officials to deny residents an
option for tax savings is absurd. It is poor leadership,
unethical business practices and time to consider a new mayor
on Tuesday, March 15th.or none at all.
