In 1985, The Lake Erie Beach Property Owners Association Turned Over Five (5) Acres Of Lake Front Parklands To The Town of Evans. The Parklands Were To Be Used For The Enjoyment Of ALL Town Residents.

1997 GRANT MONEY - WHERE DID IT GO?

In 1977, A $75,000 Grant From New York State Was Received For Lake Erie Beach Park. The Town Told Residents It Received $47,000 For The Pedestrian Bridge. The Remaining $28,000 Was To Be Spent For Other Park Improvements. There Were NO OTHER PARK IMPROVEMENTS.

The Mauer Conundrum

Richard Mauer Received A Variance To Build A House With A 0.00 Inch Setback. His House May Be Several Inches To Several Feet Into The Park. The Town Board Has Refused To Order An Updated Survey To Answer Unanswered Questions. The Same Property Owner Has Been Allowed To Personalize The Park And Chase Residents Out Of The Park. State Law Required The Town Board To Correct This Problem. Is This Just Another State Law They Knowingly Choose To Ignore?
